Well, this is my very first entry in my very first blog (so please forgive a few things until I figure it out better)! We are starting a brand new adventure and I want to have a record of our progress. I figured this was the best way to do it and I can share it with my friends. Right now Skull Creek Ranch is little more than some land and a dream. But we are dreaming big and have big plans for the place. First and foremost it's going to be our home. I can not wait to live there. Soon! We have been working on getting the place since last November and March 15th 2009 160 beautiful acres became ours. And I am happy to say that just yesterday Dave put in an offer on a beautiful mobile home and we should be living in it late summer or early fall. There is a lot of work to do before then. The land is not serviced, we don't have a main gate and nothing is cross fenced. But we will get there! The pictures in this post were taken during a camping trip on the land April 25th and 26th.
